Congratulations to everyone who participated in "It's a Zoo!" 2009 season.  Albany Elementary School of Utica City School Districtwas the proud recipient of the top prize, The Grand Tiger Award.  The play was written and directed by music teacher Mary Anne DeBernardis.  The cast enjoyed an all expenses paid trip to the Bronx Zoo in New York City and spent an exciting day in the city on June 11, 2009.   

All of our participants are winners and we are proud of what they accomplished.  With that in mind, each year, every participant receives their very own copy of a great piece of literature.

Every participant in the 2009 competition received a hard cover copy of "The Trumpet of the Swan" by E.B. White.
